MGPRS2 help needed

Sometimes this happens at the menu, and sometimes when running split
screen... It may happen other times, but I haven't owned the game long
enough to experience it in other modes. Sometimes the game just downsizes
and I'm at the desktop, I can click on it in the toolbar and it does cone
back just fine. I'm running v1.06 and the season patch minus the sounds from
the Unofficial MGPRS2 page.

Dell Tower
PII 450
128 MB RAM
Crystal Soundfusion (with some 3D mode that no one supports)
STB TNT 16 MB
MS Gamepads for split screen and Logitech Formula Force in single
play\Online
32x CD on E:
Disk Drive and Zip Drive On A: and on D:
5 GB Free on the 8 GB HD on drive C:

MGPRS2 help needed

With MGPRS2's predecessor F1RS, this used to happen to me until I
discovered on the Unofficial's FAQ page, that you should run it with a
desktop screen resolution of 800 x 600 High Color.

I think this might be worth a try.
