PROBLEM IN N2 PLEASE HELP

I applied the 3dfx patch for N2 but the sound is very low.I set the sound to
100
for every thing and setup the correct sound card but not even adjusting the
sound input to high on my monitor does anything.Anyone have a solution?

I have noticed a major sound difference if I run in Windows, vs. Dos.  Dos
being the higher sound level.  If you run in windows, make sure the volume
level on your sound card is turned all the way up in the control panel.
