Colin McRae Rally 3. No Force Feedback?

Hi All,
I have a TM Ferrari FF Wheel and cannot feel any input from it at all in
CMR3! Well, maybe a very slight vibration/bump only when landing from a
great height, and this with the FF settings on maximum! I have tried all the
FF settings from low to maximum and all in between at quite a few different
countries/stages and nothing, nada, zilch FF effects. It's not the wheel
because I also play N2003 and Live for Speed, and used to play GPL, F1 2001,
GP3/4 etc with no FF issues at all. In fact, despite this wheel now being
approx 3 years old, it works as perfectly as the day I bought it, and I
still enjoy using it very much. So, is this a known issue with steering
wheels or my TM FF in general with this game and is there some kind of
workaround/patch/fix? The game is arcade to the max as it is with a ***
replay system just like CMR1 onwards! (IMHO). It would at least be a bit
more enjoyable to know what is going on with the front wheels. Also despite
at least "nice looking" GFX, the FPS is pretty slow too. Any help would be
appreciated before I go and throw it on the shelf to forever gather dust.
BTW, is CMR4 any better (if on PC yet that is?).

Andrew.

There is a patch that addresses FF among other issues. The Codemasters
website would probably be a good and obvious place to look.
