MTM2 net play ruined by cheaters

MTM2 net play ruined by cheaters

I'm getting sick of the mother f***en cheaters on the internet too. I won't
even bother with any F1RS competitions because of the hacking of the cars
power and I've found cheaters in other games as well. What kind of
satisfaction do these morons get by winning a race in which they cheat?

As far as MTM2, if you see a competitor in an on-line race listed as
"rookie" and driving the bearfoot truck, he may very well be driving a
hacked truck. The TRI/MS folks know about these people who cheat and
apparently are considering some kind of fix in a patch. Some people will
also edit their tracks and smooth them out, and eliminate obstacles to get
faster times but it's probably few who do this. It's fairly easy to tell
who's cheating and I'd guess 99% don't so don't let it get you too
discouraged. It's something that most of the people at the Zone are aware of
and seem to be strongly against.

Looks like someone has learned how to hack MTM2, and is using their
knowledge to destroy MTM2 online racing. Tried hosting a game tonight,
and one guy had some kind of "super truck", it was literally twice as
fast as anything else. I had my gear ratio set for full speed (for the
breakneck track), and he was just flying away from me on straightaways
when I had the gas floored.

Yet another potentially good net game ruined by cheaters.

You should run in NROS on TEN.  They have implemented a checking routine
to prevent cheating.  There was even a guy banned from TEN for cheating.
