GPL pit board problem

I've recently noticed that the pit board (the one in the pit lane indicating
my pitbox) is sometimes plain black (i.e. not showing my name on it).  It
seems to occur when I start practicing or racing with Mosport or Watkins
Glen tracks.  The problem will continue if I choose another track after.

If the track I start with is another else (eg. Monaco) the pit board display
will be OK and it will remain OK even if I change to Mosport or Watkins Glen
after.

Any ideas of what may be wrong ?

I'm running GPL with a V2 3dfx and glide v2.56 in the GPL directory.  (I've
tried a fresh install (v 1.0 of GPL) with no patches or third parties
add-ons and the problem is still there).

I've also seen the black pit board in my pit stall.  I haven't tried to figure
out when it occurs.  It seems to have started with either the 1.1 or 1.2 patch,
but you're getting it even after re-installing 1.0.  I'll try to pay closer
attention and see if the pattern is the same as yours  (i.e., going to Watkins
Glen and Mosport first.)
