Any fix for no pit board in GPL 1.1

Has anyone come up with a way to cut down on the pit board not showing while
online. It is becoming a big issue when hosting league races as Qualifying
earns points but if you don't receive the pit board then you don't even have
a chance.

Hi Jeff, I've found that when this happens to me I just disconnect and
change my name slightly then reconnect. It usually is then fixed.

Try changing your helmet color instead.  A least people will still know
your name :)

Thanks the name change works, I haven't tried the helmet color yet. Also
changing your car works also..

How do you bypass the fast startup from VROC or Spy Boy to allow you to
get to the player selection screen in GPL 1.1?

clue...

I can tell you that changing helmet color definately works, and saves you
from changing name or car.

If you rejoin a GPL host with the same name, car and helmet, GPL thinks
you are the same driver as before. If your driver info on the host is
in some way broken so it isn't scoring you, then reconnecting won't
fix anything.
Changing your name, car or helmet will make the host think you are
a different driver and create a new entry for you, which is probably
going to be scored correctly.

Grant.
