In your Core.INI make the following adjustments to these two entries:

clock_adj_delay = 16
synch_method = 0

See you on the track!

Sync method set to 0 is same sync method used in GPL 1.0, right? Why GPL 1.1
if 1.0 is better for online. FF?

If "slo-mo" is the alternative to "clock smashes", I'd
rather stick with slo-mo!

no you wouldn't aubrey, clock smashes you can drive through, these bad frame
stutters you can't, you'll see anyway, people will take note eventually that
we must basically use sync 0

The slo-mo isn't so bad; it's the following catch-up at 55FPS+, zooming around
like Motorhead or something, and then back to slow again, all without any
warning.  It IS undriveable.  Period.

Just tried the settings - back up from 24-25 fps to a solid 36fps - even
with a full field at Monaco once past the start (~20fps at the start,
actually better than before).  The AMD still loses 2-3 fps when I hook up
the FF wheel rather than the TSW, but stays driveable now - thanks...
