No More "Real Time" with GPL 1.1

Am I the only one who has checked this or can anyone else help confirm......
GPLs actual (real time) lap times are quicker than the time indicated by the
program now.  They are quicker by around 2.5-2.8%, which is significant
enough to be 5-6 seconds out of whack at Spa.  Check it yourself.  Either
clock a replay on a stopwatch frm start line to start line, or manually time
yourself and you will find that your stopwatch always indicates a faster
time than the game time displays......What is happening here?  Any clues
anyone.

Seems to be the way that Papy tried to avoid clock smashes was to 'flex' the
timing around a little bit.

Boy did Geoff Crammond get flamed when everyone found out that he did the
same thing for GP2...

Its actually the opposite for me.  My " game " time at Monza ( 1:28:33 ) is
about 1:29:56 in real life time, using my stop watch.

Same here.... real time is about 1.5 secs more than gpl time....
I was able to drive constant 1.29 laps with ease, now I have to fight
for a sub 1:31 time. The new ride height of 2.5 will cost me some
time, but this is ridiculous.

My system:
PII 450, Diamond Monster II SLI, 128 meg, SB Live.
