FAQ for learning to drive NASCAR OR INDY SIMS?

Can someone help me find a FAQ for setting up and driving Nascar 2 and maybe
the current demo of CART PR? What beautiful games and they run great on my
hardware but without the driving help features on I get spanked hard. How
should I configure my Sidewinder FF Back Joystick (I know, I know but a
steering wheel costs $$$ and I don't have it now) and can a FAQ teach me
some setup techniques?
