Well, today, I spent a half hour on each of my problem tracks and took my
handicap from 62 to 44! My 1:29 at Mosport turned into a 1:25, my 1:25 at
Kyalmai turned into a 1:23, my 8:57 at the Ring turned into an 8:51, my 1:32
at Monaco went to a 1:29, and my 1:10 at Watkins Glen turned into a 1:07.
So, now I'm out of the St. Eldred's cup! So now I think I'm all great, and
then all of a sudden, I check out my rank and I'm 410th out of 670! Ahh!
Looks like I got A LOT of work to become an average GPL Player on GPL Rank.
I'd just love to be in the top half and be above average :)

Knock off all of that cryin'! Hehehe Maybe one day I'll be able to drive as
fast as you!!. lol.

How the HELL did you gain so much time with a half hour on each track?!? I
haven't made those kinds of gains with a full DAY on one track...

Hey! waytogo. I took a quick spin around Mosport to catch up, and knocked 6
seconds off my own time (and wouldn't have known it if I hadn't check the
replays. :-) Alison's Ferrari setup feels wonderful, but I'm still sloppy.

Trust me, you will. My times are only descent because I have a good memory
so I can fine tune my braking points and I watch how my dad trailbrakes. (He
does hillclimbs)

It wasn't too bad. I'd estimate the braking point, then I'd figure out if
I'd need to brake later or earlier and just fine tune it. I got the driving
down, so I just needed to get the braking points right!

They should make a minors cup, then I can really see where I stand!

Hehe. When I was 9 I was the ultimate slider in GP2. I'd set the grip real
low and see how much I could slide through the corners and catch it with my
brand new T2 wheel :)

I wish I was 9, then I could brag even more :) But then I couldn't drive the
faster karts. Oh well, I'll look for you on VROC sometime!

Be my guest however... look for JayVee or Obi-Jan. I'm not on there much
though, at my age (30) one regretfully has to do other things besides GPL
sometimes.

That's the one... not listed on GPLRank, unfortunately. Probably hasn't
mastered all the tracks yet (probably a good thing, come to think of it).

C'mon Tony... get your kid cracking at producing a time at all tracks...
make 300+ grown men cry. <g>

I'd like to see how Mikey ranks against me :)

Oh, I just put my Rouen time from 2:01 to 1:59, and my Mexico time from 1:54
to 1:51. I still need to improve my time by a second at Spa Fracorchamps and
1 tenth of a second at the Glen to beat Eldred in everything :)
