I've noticed that NFS autodetects my AWE32 as port 220, IRQ 5, DMA 5,
when it's really on port 220, IRQ 5, DMA 1.

If I correct it to point to the right DMA, it no longer works. Leaving it
on the autodetected "wrong" DMA channel works fine. <shrug>

Are you autodetecting or putting the numbers in manually?

The install program won't even letme put the numbers in manually. It comes
back with no soundcard after I try to autodetect, and "Failed to init" when I
select Soundblaster.

Btw- I called EA's product support, and the guy there told me, after going
over my system settings with me, "Uhhh, haha, I dunno." Damn that makes me mad!
