ICR2 Vancounver Setup??

by Rick Ka » Sat, 30 Dec 1995 04:00:00

Has anyone out there got a good setup for Vancouver on Indycar II?

I can't seem to get keep the left rear tire cool. I even tried running
a "hard" compound back there and still the problem persists. The
modifications I did to my car on the other tracks seem to work (i.e.
softening the shocks etc.) but the vancouver car just keep overheating
the left rear tire.

With the left rear always overheating, The corner before the 1st
hairpin is always interesting, scince some times it is understeering
then next lap oversteering.

Any one out there have a suggestion?

Thanks.
Keep the pointy end going forward!!

What about softening the suspension, on that tire, or give it some more
pressure?

Try driving a little differently.  I checked the telemetry from the 94
race, and the real guys lift completely before the apex of that turn.

It's possible to get competitive race laps lifting early.
