Why aren't ICR2 setups as PRECISE as ICR1?

Why aren't ICR2 setups as PRECISE as ICR1?

Have any other ICR veterans seen that you cannot set up your car in
ICR2 as precisely as was possible in ICR1??   Examples:

Shocks: You can only increment by 5%, yet p.79 of the manual shows
58%!!  ICR1 let you change in increments of 1%.
Camber: You can only change by tenths of a degree.  ICR1 let you
adjust by one-thousandths of a degree.
Stagger:          You can only change by tenths of an inch (i.e. 0.300"), yet
page 71 of the manual shows 0.350".
Wings:  You can only change in increments of 5-one thousandths of
an inch.  ICR1 let you change in increments of 1-one thousandths
         of an inch.

Does anyone (Rick Genter??) know what the reasons are for changing the
precision of the car adjustments in ICR2 (vs. ICR1)???  Why do the
actual degrees of adjustment differ even from those in the MANUAL
(shocks, stagger)???    Is there a way or patch to get around this??
None of my setups from ICR1 will work now due to the high degree of
rounding the degrees of adjustment.

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated!!!  Thanks!

I for one would welcome some finer tuning of my car.  I have been
working on a setup for Nazareth.  I have come pretty close, but one
"gross" change in shock, wing, etc. throws the car out of whack.  When I
mean "gross" I mean changing the item one click and only changing one
item.  I know the theory is that if one needs to be this touchy with
fine-tuning one is already on the edge, but....  That's they way a real
Indycar is, ain't it?  This is a simulation, isn't it?

The precision was reduced to more accurately reflect the level of
adjustments made to real IndyCars. The manual used screen shots from an
early beta. Your setups from ICR won't work anyway in ICR II, since the
physics model has changed.
