Why can't people just IGNORE posts they aren't interested in????

Are some people reading this group really that stupid?

Clogging the group?
Too many messages?  (give me a break, the group is so light compared to what
it used to be and compared to many others)
Topic too ***!

It's like people want to be thought-police: "go somewhere else if you want
to discuss this or that"; "don't talk about this"; "too much discussion of
that sim."; etc.  Thank you, we can all decide for ourselves what to read or
not read.

Get a life people.  It's a public newsgroup.  You can ignore whatever isn't
of interest to you.  The only bandwidth wasting posts (other than this one)
are the ones trying to tell people what they should and should not be
discussing in the rest of the posts.

Get a newsreader that compresses threads if that's your problem.

Am I the only one who is annoyed with these ever-increasing in frequency
complaints?

Agreed.  Even OE can filter messages.

Even without the filter, the subject lines and traffic usually tell me what
I don't want.  Even on dialup, the total traffic is so light the messages
are downloaded before I'm back with my cup of coffee.

Yes, the complainers are very sad and arent happy unless theyre moaning.

I dont care about RASCAR so I made a filter so I dont download any RASCAR messages, that took less time than writing this reply.
Obviously the complainers are too stupid to realise this.

<swine>

Your thread was RASCAR-related and it did not have the word "RASCAR" in it's
header.   I'm calling the police now.

Yes, but I noted that I was doing so in my original post.  I will note again
here that I am doing it again by replying! :)
