Yep, I bet DGF is a super-human could had easily beat them and witstand
those G's, for 2.5 hours all dicing around with other open-wheel cars inches
apart, while thinking of your own strategy and every possible things that
can happen during a race. <G>

(btw thanks for all those great movies).

Maybe in the future when they're building an oval track they could make one
of the four corners clockwise ;)

They're all clockwise if you drive the other way 'round....

Aha, i've got it!  What they should do is build a giant figure-8, so then
half the corners would be clockwise, and half counter-clockwise, and one
track would go under the other in a tunnel for the cross-over.  That would
be a really cool track and no one would get dizzy... :)

Voila!

( one corner clockwise was a joke of course )

A good article on it at OnTrack Online
(http://www.ontrackonline.com/xp/OnTrack/News.xml/CART_Olvey_Explains_...)

All but four of the drivers reported some symptoms of excessive
g-forces.

"But in a way, fear is a big part of racing, because if there was
nothing to be frightened of, and no limit, any fool could get into
a motor car and racing would not exist as a sport." -- Jim Clark

Excellent idea but you would have to make the overpass transparent. The Americans want to see all of the race, all of the time

Yes, Simon, the rest of us got that. :-) Now racing outside a monstrous 'V' would perhaps solve the problem?
It's just Jan who is a bit slow on the uptake (and on the track). ;-)
