HI all I have a TM T2 and when I connect it under the DirectX5
joystick panel & the TM Propanel it tells me its not connected
I have a Sidewinder Pro too and can get that working fine, but
as soon as I remove that and try to set up the T2 with & without the
adapter it comes up not conneted.

I can use the T2 in GP2 though as it use its own joystick routines

By remove do you mean unplug & that's all??? The only way I found Win95
would let it happen was to click "Remove" in Control Panel/Game Controllers
for any other controllers & let T2 (or NPW) have the one-and-only spot (Even
with TM ProPanel ?:-(). Credit Michael Carver. Hope it helps.

I've had the same situation.  Here's what worked for me : use the adapter for
the T2
and set it up under Pro Panel as device ID 1.  Without the adapter, try device
ID 3.
Hope this helps,   Scott

Hi there, yes I mean I unplug the Sidewinder Pro which is found ok
in the joystick devices and all set up, I then remove the Sidewinder
Pro from the joystick Panel . I then plug the T2 in using the adapter
and then click add new select T2 and click ok, it then comes up and
tells me its not connected. this is with & without the adapter.

Hi there, i've been posting this few times now on the newsgroup.
Adapter or not, which port ? Here's my answer, try my website,
follow the step by step guide with graphical example, and you can't
miss it.

Here's the specific page:

It sure does. Unless you do a re-boot, Win95 will not checlk for a new device
and hence will say that T2 is not connected. Silly if you ask me, but that's
that way it is.
Hope it helps,
David Mocnay
