How have you guys [that own said system] setup your speakers with this
system??  And hwhat type of speaker system do you use with it?

Anyone out there that use Game Theather XP in conjunction with Creative
Inspire 5300 or similare 5.1 systems?  If so - how have you set it up? (What
cables and ports do you use?)

Hey Ed,

I use the Hercules *** Theatre XP 6.1 with a
Monsoon 5.1 system.
The outputs on the breakout box go to the multiple
inputs on the sub. (center/sub/frontLR/rearLR)
Works very well for me...
Although I rarely use the center because it blurs
the stereo image for driving.

I think that it could be a problem with digital-input
only speaker systems. But, I'm not sure...
Also, with DVDs, I use Powerdvd which has a
software 5.1 decoder. Without that, I would need
a seperate decoder box between the GTXP and
my speakers.

I have considered using two ballsy 2.1 systems
since the Herc has pretty flexible outputs....

Good luck with it Ed.....
I love the GTXP!

I use the TBSC, which is basically the same card, and I use it with the
Klipsch ProMedia 5.1's.

Costly, but it doesn't get much better.

For the GTXP, you will need RCA to 1/8" Jack Adapters, though.  The TBSC
uses 1/8" jacks which match the Klipsch harness already.
