Change the taladega.txt file under the talladega directory which is under the
track directory...go under speedway and change the 0 to a 1 or the 1 to a 0
..i forget which way it is..whichever is there...change it to the
other...enjoy...!

Does anyone know how to remove the "restricter plate" in the track setup
file (taladega.txt for example)?  I read somewhere that, if you can figure
it out, you'll be able to go 25 mph faster.  Any hackers out there figured
this one out?

Also... I've tried to run NASCAR in svga mode and it's really jerky.  I've
got a Pentium 100mhz, 8 meg ram.  Think the jerkiness will go away if I
add another 8 meg?  -or do I need to wait and get a faster computer?

Thanks in advance.

Ok here you go. Go to nascar\tracks\taladega.txt Put taladega.txt in a
editor and go to the line that says spdwy and change the 1 to a 0 and
save it and you will not have restricter plates.
