I have 5 other friends on the same ISP as I and we would like to be able to
race N2 over our Internet connection. We are wanting to get together this
weekend and give it a try if someone can help us out.

It is not going to work very good unless one of you can be local to
the ISP (i.e. on their ethernet).  You need about 9600 bandwidth for
each dial.  The "answer" machine needs about 9600 for EACH dialer.

For sure you should have the best modem on the "answer" machine, but
even then, 3 * 9600 = 28,800.  Assuming you have perfect phone lines
and your ISP is giving you perfect IPX service, you might get this to
work on a very small scale.

I have done a similar experiment with a remote dial-in device attached
to my ethernet.  Three dialers can attach to my IPX lan and we can
enjoy a N2 race with minimal warping (disappearing in N2).

You can do it a hell of a lot easier with Kali.....

Besides.... I don't know of any ISP that use IPX.....it's TCP/IP   :-)
