Calibration problem with homemade pedals in F1GP

by DOOREMALEN T.A.S.V » Wed, 03 Apr 1996 04:00:00

Hi,

Lately I've been building pedals for my favourite racing-sims (F1GP etc.). But
I have come up to a problem. The thing is that F1GP can only "see" my pedal
from the "center" position to the maximum position. When calibrating it will
ask to first put the joystick forward, then backward and then centre. To get
F1GP to see the entire travel (or most of it) of the pedals, I have to put the
"centre" as far back as possible, which is not very easy to do. Because of
this the pedals never have the same characteristics. If anybody still
understands what I just wrote, and knows if anything can be done about it,

BTW: I don't have this problem in ICR2 or Nascar.

Thanx in advance.

cu..
Tim
