Well my GPL rank a the moment is 212.12.
I started at 265.37 so im greatly happy that ive improved that much.
Shit rank i know, but i dont claim to be a great GPL driver, not even
a good one, but i do like a challenge. GPL is a challenge for me, GP2
i have mastered, every other game i have mastered other than this one.
Great game. These are my lap times, using a keyboard
Kylami - 1.24.75
Mexico - 2.01.53
Monaco - 1.36.74
Monza - 1.31.15
Mosport - 1.34.37
Nurburgring - 10.18.05
Rouen - 2.11.21
Silverstone - 1.38.74
Spa - 3.46.71
Watkins Glen - 1.13.50
Zandvoort - 1.35.59

Ive only really really tried hard at Kylami and Monza. I dont think i
will improve much on those times, altho i have improved 3.2 seconds
when i said i wouldnt improve on it last time too.
Hopefully i can improve.
My goal in this is to get a rank of under 200 at the moment.
Anyone reckon i could do it??

The best place to make up the MOST amount of time is at the Nurburgring.
Since there is sooooo much time to be made or lost there, if you bring your
ring time down you can EASILY fit under 200. (being about 214 I can't say
I'm the best person to be advising ya...! :>

yeah, i need to improve at nurburg. I wanna get under 10 minutes at
the moment, then work fromt here, i just improved my times at
silverstone by 1 second and watkins by 2 so im gettin there!!

I've always understood that was why American cars (or Land Yachts as I saw
them called elsewhere on this ng) had such sloppy steering - so you could
turn the wheel at the same time as signalling without it affecting the car
:-)

You are doing damn good. I started on a keyboard and had around a handicap
of 480 if I recall, now using a digital joystick and 244.18. So I reckon if
you must change..change now before I cry that a key stroker is beating
me.... ;>(

Maybe you'll do better with an analogue joystick...

theire throttle and steering wheel is just here to say left or right :o)

Well I just use a joystick, no pedals and in-car view and I'm not doing
too bad. :)

Nope, Woeger only uses a joystick, no pedals... (I asked him
personally)
