Monaco rs Modem Play, Please help

is there a way to play mf1rs between a normal phone line ( not via the
internet ) as me and my freind have free cable to cable local calls but not
free internet calls, we would like to no if we could set up a connection
directly. we are both running win 98

DIAL-UP SERVER 1.2 or higher (inside w98 cd, you dont need that w95plus!
packet)
that work with MGPRS2 and any IPX-game
http://www.f1racingsim.com/miscellaneous.htm  and there is "modem guide"
