Ok just getting on my soap box for a second. Why is it so hard for
developers to make an easy to use controller input setup program. Can anyone
help on that. And anyone who makes use of the DirectX controller setup is
even worse. Hopeless.

I had a better experience.  I have a USB Logitech Wingman FF GP (no pedals
connected), a USB RS Shifter and Act Labs High Performance Pedals with
Clutch (connected with the shifter).  I recently did a fresh install of
Windows XP Home and it picked up all three controllers perfectly.  Went into
Rally Trophy and saw them exactly the way I did in the Game Controllers
applet.  Configured them the way I wanted and I was done.  Split axis on the
pedals, Steering is fine and I have RS Shifter and Clutch support via AL
Shift.
