Rally Trophy Controller Question -- Again

by bertr » Mon, 12 Aug 2002 00:44:15

Thanks for all the responses, guys.  Unfortunately, I still can't get this
to work right.  But here's an inetretsing question:

After trying the various suggestions regarding input.ini values, I found
that changing the values didn't change the situation at all.  So, I
started to think that perhaps my input.ini file is either in the wrong
directory or that there was something else wrong.  So, I decided to start
from scratch with a clean install.

Well, after doing the clean install, starting RT up, setting my controller
configuration, and trying a time trial (with the brake again reversed), I
found that there was no input.ini file at all!

So, exactly in what directory should this input.ini file be located?
(Luckily, I backed up the one that I was manipulating.)

And, any theories as to why there wasn't an input.ini file immediately
after re-installation?

Rally Trophy Controller Question -- Again

The input.ini file is added with the first patch.

There is a line in the input.ini file that you have to change from a "0" to
a "1" for these numbers to make any difference at all.

The line is listed below:

# Set this to 1 if you want to use following custom ranges instead of
detected values
OverrideRanges  = 1;
#---------------------------------------------------------------------------
