1.  spa - ah. the bestest. this one is very rewarding to those of us
with huge...amounts of courage. my best time of 3:39 makes me look like
a chicken, i'm afraid.

2.  the 'ring - exhilarating. not so much of a race to me, but a great
afternoon jaunt through a perfect setting.

3.  monza - this one feels the most like a racetrack and offers the best
opportunity for passing.

what are your faves?

Rouen is fun once you learn to stay on the track.  Silverstone is cool too.

For me, it's:

1) Spa - So fast and fun. One hell of a drive if you get it right.
2) Zandvoort - Really great to drive once you get into a rhythm.
3) The 'Ring - Do I need to say anything?

Cheers!

I prefer Watkins Glen, for the reasons you mention in #3 above. The
Glen is the widest track, and with banking too is the easiest to drive
I find.

I enjoy the ring too but it'll be a while before I'm racing there.

1. Spa (vvvrrrrooooooooommm :-)
2. Zandvoort (my home country)
3. Nrnburgring (the karrusel is super!)
4. Watkins Glen (hard to go fast thru corners)
5. Monza (great atmosphere)
6. Mosport (I allways scrath the car's bottom at Moss' :-)
7. Silverstone (nice for slides, but a bit boring)
8. Monaco (I have never liked it that much)

Spa for me so far, its the only one I can stay on all/most of the way
around :)

I halso played my friend on the net last night with the 2 off us & 10
computer cars on, well what a rush it was just so much fun, I found it
quiet easy to stick with him up close, i didnt seem to get the wobbles
like I have in other sims.

ah, i can see your Nascar origins creeping in there ;)

all of them! i'm quite serious:) every track has it's own character
and once i get to know them each is just so much fun, probably since
i just love to drive, and anywhere where there are corners suits
me fine:)

I personally like...

1. Zandvoort (fantastic rhythm and balance track)
2. Spa (Fast, smooth, some BIG corners!)
3. Monza (Precise, smooth, superfast)
4. Rouen (Tricky, tricky, tricky!)
5. Nordschleife (It's got the lot...!)

Cheers!

Uhm... let's see

1. Nurburgring. This one just has it all, speed, hairpins, banked
corners, nice scenery, etc.

2. Spa. Guess I just like long tracks :-).

3. Mexico. I don't really know about this one. It's the last one I did
last night and I enjoyed the race.

1.  Mosport.  It's my home track and I know it well from having driven
on it with PCA meets.  I really like the elevation changes and apexes
that are hidden from view because of downhill drops (the first time I
went over 2a and 2b as a passenger in a 928 I thought we were going into
the rhubarb for sure!  :)

2.  Nurburgring.  Don't know the course at all, really, and it feels
like a real driving session where one has to be cautious around all the
bends because who knows what is coming next?!?  Nice feeling when one
can put down the power at a recognizable section.  Feels like a high
speed country drive.  :)

3.  Mexico.  Played that yesterday on Tim's server and have practiced it
today acting as a server to one or two others who showed up.  Nice
twists and turns that really encourages throwing the back end around to
set up for the next corner.  Feels more like the way I drive on the snow
here in winter more than anything else!

Cheers,
Gian Vitzthum.
