Hello!

I'm looking for and old game called GPU - Grand Prix Unlimited. It's
from 92-94, for DOS. It was a F1 game, I think from accolade. If anyone has
it, or know or I can find it, please email me. Thanks a lot,

Grand Prix Unlimited was unplayable with a 386-40Mhz as it ran too fast and the
joystick wouldn't calibrate either.  I ran this game when I had a 386SX-16, but
it was blown away with GP1(World Circuit) by Microprose.  How anybody thinks
that the game would even run on a Pentium is beyond me.

Some little programs such as Moslo.exe can slow down games to make them
actually run in normal mode.  Im able to run any Atari game (per example the
old 3d Star Wars game) at the same rate as it was back in the 80's.

I have about 50 racing games from the 1980's on a Zip drive, Im having a
blast at them, but sorry I won't uploaded them yet or I dont have any
webpage with info on them (I have plenty of screenshots and information).

Maybe a simracing.com project.. ;-)

Agreed!
Even when it was running on my 386 25Mhz, it was an awful sim anyway.

Jon.
