I've read a few messages mentioning this game here.  It's the old GP game with
the crappy track editor based on tiles.  Anyone here still have the game
willing to e-mail it to me?  Sounds like it'll be fun for 5 minutes.  <vbg>

Hehe, I have the origanol game floppy disk to it, and I can send it to me,
but I must say, unless you have atleast an old 486, the game goes WAY TO
QUICK just as a warning, hehe, it was one of those games, that when I was on
my old 286 Laptop computer, I use to play on all the time, hehe.

Just checked the closet. I've got it, original box and all though don't know
whether the floppy still has any uncorrupted files on it unless I installed
it. Can't quite figure out how to email the code wheel though.:) Yup, it has
one of THOSE things; of unfond memory. Ain'tchaglad we've gone past them
now.

Wow !!! The game is still playable ( not too fast ), okey, 3D flat VGA
graphics are
old but the game is still fun ( stunt race !! ) . The track editor is fun !
I remember i'd coded a Hill/Lake editor for this game :o)

4.75Mhz ) ( not 475 ! 4 . 75 :o) )
the game was running at 2fps , with NO opponents :o), and 6month after i
bought a 486 SX 25mhz : what
a slap in my face !! ( CGA -> VGA , 2fps -> 25 fps )

Hey !!! Somebody here !!!! Make a 4D sports Driving 2 !!!!!! We want jumps

a.k.a. Stunts to those of us in North America!  Can you
believe that this excellent game is still on my hard drive to this
day?  I think it's hopped over four or five hard drives since its
release.

Did you ever find out about the built in terrain editor
(Shift-F1)?  :-)

I once bought a racing wheel from the local Radio Shack (this was in early
1994, I think) that had a game included.  The amazing thing was, that the
wheel worked by afixing your mouse (by way of an included velcro strap) to
the steering shaft.  (You turn the wheel, the shaft rotates against the
mouse ball . . .).  So bizarre!!

Oh, and the included game (whose name I forget) didn't even "support" the
wheel!

Things have certainly changed.

Ahh, don't worry, I got both pieces and a scanner, that'll do the job for
one to make the wheel themeselves!

in the manual ! You mean, you can edit , montain and lakes ?

Well, the other thing because i've made my own Stunts Track/Terrain Editor
is because
on mine you can see all the tracks on the screen ( 640x480x16 colors ).

well, i've to try it anyway :o), thanks for the tip.

I think this is one of the best-kept secrets in all of
computer *** history.  I only found about it two weeks ago while
speaking to someone at a video arcade!  I always wondered how all the
people who programmed a Stunts terrain editor (including yourself),
would react to this info. :-)

Hi-res (relatively speaking) terrain editor?  Do you have a
web address for that?

Well, it was so a pleasure to manage to hack the saved file that i'm happy
not
to found it :o)

No, i'have only email at work :o( ...

Anyway, i don't manage to make it works on my new PC ( it'was compiled on a
8086 with
Turbo Pascal ).
But it works on my old 486dx66.
The sources are on a 5"1/4 disks and i don't have the stuff to read it :o(

hmmm... let me think... well, i think i'm gonna make a winxx version :o) ...
