NFS Porsche Unleashed...Lost some FF Effects

Good day.

I recently installed the new v2.1 Immersion drivers for my ACTLABS Force RS
and shifter combo.  Since then, the force effects seem weaker in collision
and non existent in road feel.  I've cranked them all up in the game and in
the control panel applet, but still next to nothing.

Is there a force feedback .ini file in NFS 5 that may be edited?  Any
suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I've heard that the 2.1 drivers for the Force RS hose up the FFB in Porsche
Unleashed (although I haven't verified this myself.)  Try going back to the
previous drivers (1.23, I think.)  I know this doesn't really provide you a
solution, but at least it confirms that you're not alone.

Thanks Tex.  Most of the posts I saw in ACTLABS' forum referred to WIN ME or
WIN 2K problems.  I'm going back to the 123 drivers as soon as their tech
support gives me the step-by-step to get rid of the newer ones.  Last
attempt at this was disasterous!

Cheers!

I lost some of the FF effects when I moved to Win2k with my Thrustmaster
Ferrari FF wheel.

ditto (it loses a lot of it's 'wow' factor, doesn't it. My collegues at work
have tried it on W2k, & they were really impressed, but it just doesn't cut
the mustard when you can't feel when it's about to lose adhesion)
