The fact that the newest installment of the Need for Speed series is the
first to challenge GPL for realism makes you wonder what the true sim
developers have been doing in the past 2 years....

Anyway, ***y brilliant game.

        In my post about NFS:P2K I made it a point not to mention GPL
once, because such a comparison would be groundless and irrelevant.
I find the game hugely enjoyable, but to claim that the driving model
is as sophisticated as GPL's is ridiculous.  I would rank it beneath
Viper Racing (the only game, I believe, that has challenged GPL for
realism), and Gran Turismo for the Playstation (this is NOT a putdown
by any means).
