ACT-LABS Force RS very hard to turn.

Hi,

I've got an Act Labs Force RS wheel, and I hardly use it because:
- It turns really heavily
- The cornering with a fully turned wheel is too wide

Is this normal? This wheel is rather expensive, and I kinda hate that it
just sits there and is not being used.

For the first point: Did you try turning down the force feedback strength in
control panel->*** controllers? Also try turning off the centering force
(uncheck "always on"). The belts also require some time to break in, they are
stiff when new and require about 30 hours use to soften up. You can also
lubricate the belts to make it a little smoother: see http://www.racesimcentral.net/

Not sure what you mean in the second point. If you mean it's turning the "car"
to quickly try adjusting the steering ratio in the sim.
