Sorry Doug, You are wrong here. Since Nascar doesn't use the FPU, the
Cyrix should perform close to the same as an Intel P120.
I would say the slow-down Jive's friend is having is caused by the Trident
video card.
I am not interested in a chip-war flame here, but compare some of the
benchmarks and you will see what I am talking about.

i agree, the Trident is a VERY slow card.  I think your CYRIX chip
should work fairly well with the right graphics settings.

Sorry, didn't mean to slight the Trident... more or less intended to
stick up for the Cyrix. Don't know much about the Trident so it became
'suspect'. ;o)

...Now after studying things a little more...The Cyrix 120+ uses a bus
speed of 50MHz x2 so maybe the slower bus speed and (video card combo)
might be to blame. I wonder how it would do at 2x60MHz...
errrrrrrrrrrrr ummmm ...different newsgroup! ;o)

That statement is true for the 64bit Trident, however, almost all
other Trident cards are QUITE slow.  The 64Bit PCi one is MUCH better
then the rest.
