I just got Grand Prix Legends for Christmas....man.  Unbelievable.....the
SOUNDS!!!  Man, I suck, but I can't help but drive the Ferrari just to
hear that AMAZING engine sound....
Sweet....

Yes, many of us had the same reaction the first time we fired up
GPL and took the Ferrari out for a spin (actually a few spins) at
the Nurburgring.

GPL would be worth it for the Ferrari and Nurburging alone, I'm still
amazed that someone actually was able to produce and release a sim that
not only models a track as complex as the 'Ring but also that strives
to realistically reproduce the physics models of 1967 F1, on top of
this they also gave us different car models each with it's own
strengths, weaknesses and feel, and finally TCP/IP multiplay which
has worked out terrific for most of us on VROC.

I was thinking about this the other day, 1998 was a very good year
for us auto-sim enthusiasts, I can tell that like GP2 and ICR2, GPL will
have a home on my HD for years to come.

Seeyas on the track.

Hehehe,,,, yup, that Ferrari engine sound is a real killer, really great when
you drive the Ferrari, I tend to use the Lotus, but when I hear that Ferrari
coming up on me from behind..... a cold shiver goes down my spine, it's
almost enough to make you pull over and let it through (almost....  I said
;-)
Enjoy, it's a fabulous bit of software engineering, we all owe Papy and there
guys a big thank you.

Yep, and that's the reason why I swapped the sounds...driving the Honda
with the Ferrari-sound -> great ;-)
