GP2 Car failures / Nascar sanctioning?

by Jonathan Robinso » Tue, 30 Jul 1996 04:00:00

First, I would like to know if setting your car to invincible in GP2 makes
it impossible to have a breakdown.  I have all breakdowns set but I can't
get the car to break with invincibility turned on.  Also, this group has
been flooded with so many messages that I am not sure about a certain
subject.  As far as I can tell, I can only hear my own engine inside the
***pit.  Has anyone else been able to hear opponents engines?

Second, does anyone know what was meant in the newsgroup post earlier?  It
said something about NASCAR sanctioning competition in Papyrus' Nascar II.
That sounds pretty cool.

Well, I have the same settings and twice I have had electrical
problems. One time I hade a lose left rear (when I looked at the
replay I saw the wheel wobbling around). And finally one time with
gearbox problems. If you haven't seen it I must tell you that the
engine blowups are pretty cool to watch.
