Can't get it to work properly!! Game loads, then when I click on the part
where you have to enter the driver name, the mouse disappears. The video
footage still plays in that Window (fantastic historic clips!), but nothing
else happens. Alt-Tabbing back to the Desktop seems to completely freeze the
system, and I have to press the Reset button to reboot.

P2-233, 64MB Ram, Diamond Stealth II-S220.
Yes, I know I need to upgrade... but the game does meet the minimum spec, so
what's up?
Anyone got it working with a Stealth II ?
If so, what version video drivers are you using?

what dx version r u running?

I believe there aren't any drivers for the s220 that support dx7 or dx7a

Ok, I upgraded to the "latest" video driver release from diamondmm.com
(dated 5-13-2000, version: 4.10.01.0110), and now the menus work
perfectly--- but when I go to race, the screen is PINK, BRIGHT PINK,
ENERGIZER-BUNNY-PINK!!

Can hardly see any objects, including my car or the competitors' cars cos
everything is PINK!! Can barely make out the edge of the road in some
places, other places it's impossible. Only thing remotely comprehensible is
the h.u.d.. -- I was able to drive by this alone and finish 4th at the Cote
D'Azur track!! (which concerns me if I ever get to see where I'm going the
thing should be a walk-over!!)

I'm running DX7.0a---- all my other games run fine in D3D mode (HalfLife,
Quake, Toca2, Midtown Madness, etc)--

Still looking for a work-around.. Until then I'll just have to experiment.
