that it is a world-class game. Although it's many years since I owned a
motorcycle, there is still no doubt in my mind that this is a far more
accurate physics model than SBK.
The circuits are excellently rendered with absolutely no pop-up and you can
race fluently with a full 24-bike field (PIII 550, Voodoo 2 SLI/TNT2 Ultra,
128MB RAM, Microsoft Sidewinder Game Pad). The overall impression of speed
is much better than in SBK. I also like the ability to tweak the CPU AI
levels.
Microprose has to be congratulated on the high standard it has again
achieved. This bodes extremely well for GP3 which, even if it is just a 3D
version of GP2, will still be the best game ever.
For those of you yet to purchase, I do recommend this sim even if you have
to import it (not available in USA?). It is very challenging, but has a more
logical learning curve than SBK, which I am still struggling with.
Now all we need is for someone to come up with a really decent dedicated
motorcycle control peripheral.
Motorcycle simulation just went mainstream...
Best Wishes
