Hey guys! We got ahold of 6 new screenshots and a feature page from
Microprose/Hasbro's new Superbike title, GP 500. This game looks very good
although we all know that shots don't vouch for physics. Let's hope we can
add another solid SBK title to the collection. We should have a hands-on
preview for you soon. Here's the address:

I thought that "GP500" would be a simulation of the 500cc World
Championship, not another "superbike" game!

FYI, GP 500 is not a Superbike-class "title".

The FIM Superbike-range goes from 600ccm and up.
If Microprose has done their job "right"... GP500 should include the 125,
250 and 500ccm worldchampionship classes.

Ahhhh........don't forget the 883 class also! Then finally we will be
able to race Harley Davidson's also! That would make the perfect
racing bike sim!

It is. All the official tracks and riders from the 98 season. Look at the
screenshots.

Also have a look at http://www.torps.com/gp500/index.html for shots from one of
the programmers.

It doesn't include the lower classes. It is purely a 500cc sim. And yes, they
have done it right!

Harley Davidson make the best boat anchors! Next you will wnat to race Buells.

One of the most fun game I ever played was an officially sanctioned PC game
based on Harleys. Can't remember its name but you had to make it to a big
Harley get together whilst avoiding Police and participating in events to pay
for mods to your bike.

The new 1200cc 4 strokes in the sidecars sound brilliant! At Phillip Island
their acceleration out of MG corner was amazing!
