Anybody know how well Logitech's Wingman Formula GP wheel/pedal set works
with Nascar 4?

Right now i'm using a really old gravis gamepad to play Nascar 4, but I
recently saw this cheap Formula GP (has no force feedback or anything
special like that) and was wondering whether it would make much of a
difference even though it's basically a plain old wheel..  any opinions
would be appreciated

wouldn't be worth the effort of getting a wheel if it doesn't have FF.  imo

My trusty Wingman Formula (yellow) non force feedback is just fine and dandy.
I debated whether to get a FF or not the last time I bought, but many of the
threads in here talk about troubles with configurations and settings.

Until they get a bit better, so I don't have to tinker as much, I will stay
with my non FF Wingman Formula.  Of course the Logitech  pedals are just
GARBAGE.  I have the new Actlabs clutch setup... beautiful.

To add further fuel to the argument, I have a Logi Formula Force GP (red)
wheel which is FF but I prefer to drive N4 without FF, as I believe it gives
me greater control of the car. GPL I drive with FF on.

I use a Wingman Formula (black) and it does the job.  I've tried the FF red
and didn't like it.  Speeds are no faster.  I have better control without
it.  The TSW wheels don't have FF and they are one of the best wheels on the
market right now.  Wish I could afford one.
