FF and GP3 - any ideas

by Jeff Mal » Wed, 02 Aug 2000 04:00:00

I have tried to find all the posts  re GP3 and FF but have not found an
answer yet.
I have a Saitek R4 FF wheel (it is based on the MSFF wheel) and have a
problem with the FF in GP3
I have to have the map x to y setting to get FF to work which is fine.
But when i use it, the FF works ok turning right, it gives resistance. But
when turning left it pulls to the left and thus has no resistance.  I have
tried DirectX7 and DirectX7a and both do the same thing.  Does anyone else
have the same problem ?
Any ideas on how to fix it ?
Maybe direct X7a hasn't installed properly

Ran dxdiag.exe and got the following info
