If your problem is "big" then an adjustment that corrects will probably
increase overall looseness so some other complimentary adjustment(s)
might be necessary.
If you are understeering then your fronts are not gripping properly to
turn the car or the left rear has too much grip and is making you push.
You can try lowering the left rear spring rate, which will increase the
rear split. Maybe you do not have enough nose weight and the weight
transfer under power is unloading the front too much.
If you like everything else on the car I would lower the left rear
spring. This can be a strong change and you might need to put a touch of
wedge back in if the effect is too much. However a 25lb change can
probably stand alone.
BTW What are your tire temps?

I'll let the smart guys answer the springy thingy questions.

Yes I am at ver 1201, I have had the problem both before and after.
Now here is the rest of the story - I use a joystick. For many reasons
I use it rather than a wheel. And, at this point I prefer it to a
wheel. With a joystick I know there are limitations on sim
interaction and throttle control. Up to this point I have put it off
to the fact that the throttle is either 0 or 100%. I hoped that there
was a way to overcome the push and bypass the input method.
Hope you guys don't dismiss me because of the joystick......
nope. Have you tried adjusting the linear settins in the controls
options. Fully linear is more for wheels. You might want to move the
slider all or part of the way to the left, (the negative side)
I had to hunt around for the linear slider, it's in the advanced section of
the controls menus.

I cant dismiss you for using a joystick, but I cant for the life of me
figure out how to setup a racing automobile that as far as acceleration &
braking only has 2 possible input positions, (full)ON and (completely)OFF.
I cant imagine racing a car with a stuck throttle, and using switch to allow
the engine to run, and as I come to the corner I let off the switch and the
engine dies, I tap another switch and the brakes come on at some pre
determined rate or pressure... of complete lockup -minus the "driving aids"
modulation of them.
Need for speed, on the other hand, was created just for this kind of
thing...

Last 2 back-to-front?
