Just what is Aintialias?  Other then the obvious... turned on or
turned off with the check box in the options screen... How would I
recognize that it's on or off?  what is it?

Anti:  Against, Hostile to, Opposes to...
    Alias: Other, otherwise named,..
Anti alias:?? against naming or renaming something?  what is it?
I'd like to turn it off to see what the difference is but I don't know
what I would be looking for to see any difference.

In the case of GPL it's more specifically edge anti-aliasing, which
refers to the smoothing of lines and polygon edges to eliminate the
jagged stair stepped effect the you get without this feature.

It basically blends the edges on the screen to make them look more realistic
and less choppy.  I hear the horizon gets pretty messed up with
anti-aliasing on but I wouldn't know since I have no rendition card.

Yeah, you're right. I always turn AA off. I makes a mess of
objects/track on a distance, and makes it hard to determine the next
turn in point. Beside that, it is ugly.

(For Mike, AA is only available for Rendition cards, not for Voodoo)
