out in the display options menu.
I was under the impression that my old video card's poor capabilities
was the reason, but I still can't enable it.
Any clues?
Thanks, Glenn

Hi Glen,
That option will only be enabled with old Rendition cards. All you need to
do is enable the driver (in the display properties) to enable FSAA all the
time (2x / 4x or whatever).
Hope this helps,
Ash

Not for me. Perhaps a little fuzzy, but still readable.
All the best,
Ash
what video card and driver version are you running?
Thanks
MadDAWG
GF3, not sure what version of drivers i have though, probably 30.xx
I will have to check it out tonight as I havent had FSAA on in a while, but
i am pretty sure it works fine :)
All the best,
Ash

How do you enable anisotropic filtering in OpenGL?
I have mine set in the display properties (gf4200) but can't find anywhere
to enable it for gpl. Works fine in D3D, but I get the font corruption
problem with that.

Didnt some nice chap at papy update the D3D driver for GPL which helped with
the FSAA problems?
Doug
Could be. Like I said its been a long time since I have had GPL on my
computer. I much as I wanna like it the idea of driving water heaters wears
thin pretty quick for me. However I like the old tracks since they don't
have all that ***to slow cars down.

Actually, I think you're referring to the new OpenGL driver that WiHerr did
on the GPLEA board - should still be to find it pretty easily at
http://forum.racesimcentral.com . Works fabulously with the 30.xx nvidia
drivers, FSAA, and is smoother and faster than D3D under almost all
circumstances. No melting menus, no flickering menus, and no blurry text in
the interface.

HTH,
Kendt
Got it (v11.1) already, I use it for the refresh rate fix, but enabling it
there (or in the driver) doesn't enable it in gpl. I'll have another go with
the settings though.
I thought the OpenGL patch for gpl didn't support anisotropic filtering.
