GPL: Removal of the auto-throttle-blip?

Request for coders! I think it would add to the realism. Here is link to a

When using TSJ's patch for GPL to enable free shift support for the Act Labs
Force RS Shifter, the autoblip is disabled as a byproduct.  It takes some
getting used to I can tell you.

Yes, but the patch works only with the Act-Labs shifter (?)

GPL: Removal of the auto-throttle-blip?

Yet another benefit! :-)

******

I must say that I am really enjoying my ACT Labs Force RS and Shifter
now that it is installed in my SimChassis Slipstream! It is right down
there on the side where a shifter should be and it works well with
TSJ's patch. I might not be any faster due to new learning curve, but
I am really starting to get the hang of it. Did a PB at Sarthe, but
that may just be due to natural progression :-). I even did a few laps
with Cart Racing the old Papy windows game, last night. I used the
shifter in the 'legacy' mode of push up to downshift, down to upshift
and it may not be realistic for Cart, but I like it better than the
paddles. My only complant is that I have lost the paddles, hat and
some buttons on the wheel, but this is very minor.

SLG
(No, I do not work for ACT Labs, SimChassis or TSJ. I am just a happy
customer.)
