Beta patch for CPR

Beta patch for CPR

The Beta patch for CPR fixes most things, but it does not fix the qualifying
session.  Even if you qualify one second aheads of the fastest car, you are
still left in eigth position.  This is an obvious mistake.  The grass and sand
are so slippery with the patch, that it is as if you are driving on slick ice.
There is now sound in the replay, and the steering lock has been increased to
18.  There are a few new functions like the Null Zone for your controller and
brightness adjustment.
The AI is still too easy on the ovals.  Without adjusting my setup, I am still
four seconds per lap quicker than the CC's on the professional level.  On road
circuits the AI has improved but they are just ~6% too slow. I whip them easily
too.
While the patch has adressed most problems, it still needs a lot of work before
the final version is released.

Not to split hairs, but the main problem is not that the AI cars are too
slow, it is that the human car is too fast. 252+ mph laps at Michigan are
roughly 15 mph faster than real-life qualifying laps. Of course, the AI does
need to be a little faster, which is probably due to excessive slowing in
the corners. They also seem to be a bit slow to get back on the accelerator
coming out of corners.

About the grass being slippery, just incase you never had the luck to exit
the track unto the grass at speed it's slippery as shit.

The grass should be slick, but not the dirt.  Are these people just stupid?  The
track designers don't put dirt or sand infront of walls because it is slick.
They put it there to stop the cars.
