I agree.  I think it would help the sport if, when they do the
re-launch that Pook has been discussing for 2005, it was accompanied
by a brand new CART simulator.  I'm not saying that's the sole answer
to CART's marketing woes, but surely the Nascar Racing series has made
fans out of many people who didn't care for the sport at all.

I think this year would have been a good year to do it.  An awesome
selection of tracks.  A series that should be driver skill based since the
cars are going to be close to spec.  And a year that they desperately need
to make a break-through in PR and popularity (in the US...it's very popular
in Canada, Mexico and Australia and decent in Europe).
