It's out in stores in Norway at least, I'd assume the rest of Europe
as well.
Been out for a week at least.

Roy Batty: I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships
on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the
dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time,
like tears in rain. Time to die.
I have to say though, that the demo is worse than the real game - just.
Andi.

I'm enjoying the***out of it. It's tough, tho'... I was doing a lot
better a lot quicker on the 2000 version. It doesn't (so far, I just
started the second rally, the Harbor rally) seem to have quite the
pucker factor with the tunnel rallying that was so damn cool in MRC2000.
The tracks seem to be a bit wider.
The graphics are freaking AMAZING. The in-car dash view is the best I've
ever seen. First game I've played that really models cresting over
curves blind really well. One must absolutely trust the pacenotes on
these curves in this game, unless cheating by using an out of car view
for more vision.
Anyways, I'm not an expert (one of the few Americans who really loves
rally racing and could give two shits about any of our native racing
forms) but it seems honest and tough to me. I've played all the rally
titles (eagerly awaiting RT) and it's competing very well against MRC,
my favorite since the day it came out. Little bit unstable, tho'... the
first time I successfully placed in the first rally series it crashed on
me before I could save the progress... lordy was I pissed ;)

I heavily disagree with you here! I don't see anything that has
improved since the demo. I gave Rally Extreme enough time, 'finished
it', and I think it's a fun arcade racer in the same league as CMR2.
Allthough RC2000 had many flaws, it had a much better rally feeling to
it, mostly because of the wonderfull and narrow stages.
Bring on Rally Trophy!

Agree, in car cam is great and gives you motion sickness after a while
:) Unfortunately the pacenotes are often waaaay to late, sometimes you
hear them when you are allready in the corner, making it quite hard to
use the***pit cam.
The track graphics are good but nothing spectaculair, and the car
itself looks just horrible. How many layers of wax did they put on
it??
It's fun for a while, but definately different than RC2000.. that's
why I adviced to try the demo before buying :)
