My best sofar is a 3:17.83 **including** a 5 sec. penalty for jumping the
start (I wanted to test and floored it on "1"...

I agree that the funfactor is high - but the rest is ... well.... you
now  - -  It's no ... ;-)

3:01.49 here. Go to http://www.sportplanet.com/hg/ and then go to the
forums, General Racing Sims, and look at RCX best times. I have a screenie
there for verification info. Currently I'm in the lead :)

If I could do my 1st half time in my record, and do my 2nd half time of the
2nd place holder, then we'd have a sub 3 minute time :)

Thanks,
Alex

Don't ya just love it Ed?  I've been dealing with stuff like that for
ages....in the TPTCC road races...the aces would be sending in times that
seemed to chop off a quarter of the track.   keep at it....there are seconds
hiding everywhere.

Ya know Dave, if you stopped driving back and forth across the track,
you might actually feel like you've "chopped off a quarter of the track"
yourself....:-), most people have accepted that the shortest distance
between two points is a straight line....

driving back and forth across the track,
If I didn't know you better Goy, I might think you were trying to have
fun at my expense...but....I HAVE TRIED that straight line stuff.   Didn't
work for me....dang walls kept getting in the way..

Well, that explains a few things Dave, on the straights, try going in a
straight line, in the curves, try going in a curved line.......you'd
almost think those names meant something.....

I know that feeling, but then again, I raced in TPTCC when I was 11 so all I
knew was the racing line :) Loved doing the Bathurst race. All I had to do
was keep it on the road and our team would be midpack. That league was lots
of fun....

Thanks,
Alex

It was more fun for NASCAR 2 is what I meant ;)

IF TPTCC makes it's way to N4 that would be even sweeter. You could play it
online with the most realistic physics, but I doubt it will be out before
WSC, and when I say that I mean it won't be out before WSC, I mean WSC with
6 month delays every 6 months ;)

Thanks,
Alex

One word....well, two actually :-), "online racing"......that says it
all for me

Interesting "race", which will finish first, the TPTCC patch for N4 or
WSC....:-)
