How do you run GPL in opengl, is there a patch, like with D3D?  Got to try
something since it keeps locking up now in D3D with this new Geforce 3.

For some reason there isn't a link to the OpenGL renderer on the main Papy
d/l page, but it can still be found here -
http://www.papy.com/gpl/gpl.download.index.html (at the bottom of the page)

I found it a nightmare though, every time the screen changes size the menus
all go wrong.

morris
you need the openGL rasteriser from the papyrus site.
http://www.papy.com/gpl/download.html   opengl rasteriser there
but here is the problem...
openGL looks great and runs fast with gf2 or gf3 cards.
i have both so i know first hand.
but if you run at a res higher than 640x480 you run into a problem...
at 800x600 when you leave the track and go back to the menus screens
you ony get half a screen...usually the upper half only.
at 1024x768 or higher when you leave the track and go back to the
menus screens you get totally blank (black) screen.
the buttons and stuff are there you just cant see them.
so to get out of the sim you would go to where the red button is
(lower left screen) and click to back out of the program.
difficult to use and race with online but it can be done once you
figure it all out.
hope this info helps
