I have a thriller3d rendition card and have just bought N3.  Pretty
disappointing how not well the video is.  GPL looks so good with this card.
What are my options?  Can I add a second vid card with 3dfx or do I have no
choice but to s***that thriller?

Why couldn't N3 have a rendition option?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As you found out... rendition is no longer suppoerted by papy. If you want to
drive or play apps needing a different card you can switch to something like a
v3-2000 but you may prefer the rendition graphics as I do. You can add a second
video card but you will need to get software which allows you to switch cards
on the fly. Think about what your needs are carefully (proiritize).

You could go with a V2 and keep the Thriller in for GPL , V2 for N3. I had
the same decision a couple of days ago an opted for a V3 2000 for $90.00,
GPL and N3 looks great with real good fps. I did not want to go to Voodoo
but know I'm pretty satisfied and really do not miss the Thriller.
