I am considering the replacement of my Current AGP video card, it is a
Number Nine, Revolution 3D 4meg.  My main sim is NR1999, I have a Monster 3D
2.  any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

The best solution for NR1999 is still a Rendition based card--I have both a
Rendition and Voodoo, and the V2100 is faster and better looking. I'd say a
Hercules Thriller 3D 8MB would be the best choice.

Agrred that the best video card for the current N2, NR1999 and ICR2 is a
rendition 8meg card, probably the thriller..

I scrapped my 8mb Thriller (actually gave it to my dad to replace the
Intergraph Reactor I gave him last time).  I know run a Matrox Mill 8mb AGP as
my 2d card w/2 Voodoo2's (12mb each) in SLI.

I ran head to head tests on "my" p2 333 128mb ram machine and I found the 3dfx
worked best.

Now that NR1999 is 3dfx native "and" its a Win95/98 program.

Just my comment on this matter.  I'm getting 30 fps constantly with everything
on, 39 opps drawn ahead and behind, at all tracks.

The "washed out" you hear about in 3dfx cards is due to settings in the
properties box (gamma) and it looks crisper "to me".
