GP3 and LWFF wheel problem

I must be the stupidest person in the world (no don't all agree at once),
but how the f**k do you get the LWFF to work in GP3? It doesn't seem to want
to recognise the pedals, and I can't change gear. Any help or insight would
be appreciated.

Got mine running straight off. Have you loaded "E:\Extras\Control
Sets\logitech_wingman_wheel.con"  from the CD? Also you must click Report
Combined Pedals in the Global Device Settings in the LW Profiler, that
sounds like the cause of your pedal problem (no spilt-axis in this game).
The only change I made to the controller settings was to have different
paddles for up and downshift, at first the left paddle did both according to
the throttle pedal.

But can anyone tell me how to get "change car setup" in the pits? Gear
up/down drops me off the jacks and none of the buttons do anything.

I am 100% sure the retail version will fix all of those problems.

Oh, almost right. l/r goes up/down and the gear selects the menu.

Thanks.

Thanks Tony, I hadn't spotted the 'Extras'. But alas no luck. The game still
won't recognise the pedals and doesn't seem happy with the buttons and
paddles as well.

Try setting the Report Combined Pedals option in Control Panel/Game
Controllers
Properties/Settings as well for the pedals. I haven't tried the buttons
myself yet.

Also check www.bhmotorsports.com GP3 Utils for an LWFF set-up.

No, you were exactly right Seb! Now, can you make my Voodoo 2 work?

I'd love to help you, but I only found out the above by accident, (and then I
read the manual) ;-P

Solution! Throw away my new LWFF USB wheel, and set up my old MSFF non-USB
wheel! Hows that for crappy GP3 software.

Hahaha, no no.
No need to copy & paste. But this is still a single-axis game!
I bet Geoff doesn't even play his own game anymore.
Can't be! Single-axis. Sja!
